Is it over?

I woke up Christmas to find some gifts in my stockings. I have two stockings just in case Santa is generous and brings more than one gift.

I opened one gift in the morning and took the other two gifts to my cousins place. The kids like seeing me rip the wrapper.

My Christmas video.

Thanks Santa. I love my gifts. Beanie baby is my favorite.

Christmas is over? Why can't Christmas last for a week? I have to wait for 300 plus days for Christmas to be here. That's like a thousand dog days.

Hope you all had a merry holiday and got what you wished for.

Peace and Joy,

Jingle Bear

Are you ready for the holidays? I'm sure you can tell that Bear and I are all dressed up and very much ready for Christmas.

Bear happens to be a good singer and will perform his favorite song (actually it's the only song he knows).

Peace and Joy,

Dear Santa

I am having a hard time holding this pen so I will need mommy's help to write the letter.

Ready to seal the envelope with my letter in it.

I can now drop it off to the nearest mail box.

I see the mail box.

There it goes.

What did I ask Santa for Christmas? That he gives special attention to animals that have no homes and find them a family that will love and care for them.

Pictures from Christmas Past

I love the holiday season. I love the decorations, colorful lights, Christmas trees, and everything associated with Christmas. It also happens to be a time when we seem to take a lot of pictures. I got some favorite and not so favorite pictures to share.

This is my fave. I'm smiling and happy.

If I look bored, well I was.

Why the long face you ask? I have to wear the hat for our Christmas card photo and I'm not thrilled.

Mom likes this photo but couldn't get me to smile.

Not smiling here too.

Not my fave. I've been hypnotized to wear this cap.

Do I have the look that says I can't believe I'm wearing this outfit?

With Santa at Petco (This santa was an impersonator, the real Santa would never put a pillow under his shirt).

Hope you are having a great week. Don't let the busy holiday season stress you out.

It's Beginning to Look a Lot like Christmas

My holiday outfits and some of the decors are out. It could only mean one thing. Christmas is just around the corner.

Life is Good

One of the basket of goodies we took home from our Halloween party included the book "Life is Good: Lessons in Joyful Living" by Trixie Koontz. I am enjoying every page of the book.

Here's an excerpt from the book.

Life is good when you believe you are beautiful. Everyone is beautiful somehow, some way. Some need bows. Some are beautiful without 'em. Some have beautiful voices, some have beautiful minds. Some are beautiful like sunsets, some beautiful like cheese. Some have fur and tails, and are adored. Be a sunset, be cheese, be furry, be whatever beautiful you are, and beautiful things will come to you along the path of life. The only ugly puss is a sourpuss. Dog wisdom.

I love, love this book. It's funny, heartwarming and reminds us to appreciate the simple things in life.
Have a great week.

Spooktacular Pawty

We had our annual Halloween Costume Party and it was one FaBOOlous event.
Look at that spread. That's just the dessert table. They had fried chicken and the smell was driving me crazy. Too bad the food was just for our parents.

Mommy was lucky and won two basket of goodies from the raffle.

You don't have to be in costume to attend.

Let the parade begin.

I wasn't the only hippie in attendance. Hey Lucy, looking groovy.

Here's the bus Lucy and I are supposed to ride in on our way to Woofstock.

The wizard and fairies are getting ready to show off their magic tricks.

Buzz and Woody

No one told him grapes is not good for doggies.

Gumball machine

Uncle Sam wants YOU.

Sweet smelling flower. Watch out the bee is heading your way.

For a while there, it looked like some animals escaped the zoo.
Bronz AKA Tiger won First Place.

Rina as Big Bird placed second.

Jack, Kona, Jill and Harley were dressed as the Three Little Pigs and the Big Bad Woof. Their mom, Sue, is the best meetup organizer!

What can I say? It's the best party ever.
