If you guessed the Xpen, you are absolutely correct. It's gone and I'm FREE! Well, it's been two weeks that I have been given the privilege to roam around freely, indoors that is, but no one got around to removing it until today.

Time to say goodbye to the xpen. You've served your purpose and kept me safe especially during my first month of recovery. So farewell, it was nice knowing you. Thanks for the memories. I wish I can say I'll miss you but ehh, nope.

To all you Dads out there, Happy Father's Day.
It's been a difficult year for me healthwise and Daddy was there to help me through the challenges, taking time off from work to care for me after the surgery, driving me to my doctor and therapist appointments. You're the best.

Walking

I feel good and I'm starting to walk better. If you didn't know I had surgery you most likely wouldn't notice my limp.

Walking in a tank with water. This time my therapist let me walk for 15 minutes. Whew! We both were tired. She was tired from holding me back cause I kept on pulling.


I've had enough walking for the day.

Surf Dogs

This past Saturday was a big event for doggie surfers. It was Loews annual surf dog competition in Imperial Beach and a few of my golden friends participated. Mom and dad went to watch and to cheer on my friends, the Golden SurFURS. While poor me stayed home.

Daddy took a zillion photos of dogs surfing while mom took some videos. Here are a few of the surfurs.

Have you seen five dogs surfing in one surf board? They placed second for the Tandem category.


Kalani won first place in the big dog category. She got the best prize. A bag made of paper. I would have shred that bag in no time.
