My Name is Meeka and I'm a Chewer

Had my six week post op check up and doc says knee feels and looks good. Doc observed the way I walked and she can tell I'm in some pain. My knee and leg feel sore especially after the rehab sessions. I've been given rimadyl to help with the pain and arthritis.

Enough of my knee pain, found some old pictures and I mean old as in ancient cause they were in paper form and included the negative film. Yah, I know, some of you have never seen or heard of a negative film. No date on the pictures but I'm guessing I was about a year and a half old when they were taken.

For some reason, I used to love the taste of paint. I even had one favorite spot. As soon as daddy patched up the wall I would go back and chew it again. Lost track of the times the wall was patched up. The solution? They placed a chair in front of it.

We all go through the chewing stage, right? That's normal. I still chew on my toys but I make sure no one is looking.

Nothin' wrong with a bit of chewing! Hope that knee improves soon, so you can get out of the house--don't want you to be tempted to chew something.

Well, admitting there is a problem is the first step to getting help... :D

Mom thinks you didn't get into too much trouble, on the count that you are so cute!

I'm sure every doggy has gone through a chewing faze at some point in their lives. Even I did eventhough I wasn't a crazy chewer but I did chew on my hoomie's wooden rocking chair (just a bit) & also grazed on the painted door frame. The paint tasted pretty good! But now at almost 6 years old, I don't do these things anymore. Infact, I stopped at a very, very young age. I'm just basicaly not a chewer. And I think there's nothing wrong with chewing although wall paint is not very good for you.

I love that picture of you with all that mess on the floor. You sure knew how to act real innocent. I also like how different you looked at 1 & now at 7 years old. You were quite a baldy then. HEE HEE! I was pretty much a baldy at that age too. But now I finally have coat.

I love the old pictures of you. I am a chewer too. My vickie says I am lucky to still be alive cause I not only chew, I swollow.

Anyway, I am glad to hear you are healing, I am sorry I wasn't around to help you as you were going thru it.

But I'm back now and I won't lose you ever again.

(Boy that sounded a bit mushy)

Anyway take care

Oh Meeka we are so behind on our bloggy reading we had no idea about your knee or your splurgery! We are so happy you did well and are improving. Momma had knee splurgery two years ago so we know how tough recovering is!

Feel better Meeka!
