Trainee
I recently went with some friends to visit folks at a retirement home. I'm not a certified therapy dog but the place make exceptions if one is friendly and loves attention, so I'm in. It's my first visit and am still learning the ropes so I guess you can call me a trainee.
It's an easy job, I go around, smile, lick their hand, they rub my fur, chin, ears. I performed a few tricks. I think their favorite was when I shred paper on command.
I enjoyed my visit and hope to do it again.
