Just reflecting on the true meaning of this day. Big thanks to those that serve our country.

Farmer's Market

I recently went to a Farmer's Market. Every Tuesday afternoon, the mall close to our place blocks off an area so vendors can set up their tables and sell fresh and organic produce, arts and crafts and other goodies.
Hello there!

I'd like an order of mini donuts please.

Bought some strawberries and they were sweet. Yum!

It's getting dark, time to go home.

Pet Day on the Bay

I had the opportunity to participate in the Annual Pet Rescue Day on the Bay. This is the one day of the year Hornblower will allow dogs on their one hour cruise around the bay. Cool huh? I've done the cruise in the the past and it's always a blast.

Waiting for boarding time. I'm here with my friends from the meetup group and our organizer is Sue.

Still waiting.

Finally, it's boarding time.

He says he's the captain.

We're on our way.

Nice day to go kayaking.

The sea lions sunbathing.

I love the cool breeze.

Cruise is over, time to get off.

Where did we park?

Have a great week!

Birthday Party

I attended my two legged cousins' party. Cousin J turned nine years old sometime last week and cousin H will be five years old on Wednesday. Here I am posing by the astro jump.
Am I allowed to go in and bounce around? I guess not.

Cousin J, can I play video games with you and your friends? What do you mean I don't have thumbs and can't work the remote?

Okay, so can I join your rock band? You don't like my singing?

Maybe this birdie will play with me.

Hey, birdie, birdie. Wanna play?

Look at those cakes. I know I can't have chocolate but can I have a taste of the barbie cake?

This is not my kind of party. I can't eat cake, not allowed to play video games and the bird won't play with me. Is it time to go home?

Note from Mom: Meeka managed to get petted by the kids and adults so she's happy.
