An Afternoon at the Mall
We live close to a shopping mall (Otay Ranch Towne Center) that is dog friendly. I love this mall, I'm allowed inside the stores. Well, there are a few stores that discriminate and only allow service dogs but the majority of the stores are okay with canine shoppers. It's a holiday weekend and we wanted to see if there are any good sales going on.

Bask in the Sun
We're so lucky to have temperatures in the 70s in January while other areas of the country are experiencing icy cold temperatures. Love to sunbathe whether I'm outdoor or indoor.

Weekly Weigh In
Even before I started to eat veggies, mom started to monitor my weight. I use the wii fit balance board as a weighing scale. Mom created a mii for me and I call her Misty.
I have lost six pounds in five months. The trick is to add veggies and fruits to your meal. Dad says I eat healthier than he does.
My vet didn't say how much I should weight, I think 70 pounds is good for a gal like me. I think mom is aiming for 65. Can I do it? I'll keep you posted.

My New Year's Resolution
Should I exercise more or eat less or do both? Nah, who am I kidding? I hate exercising and I love food. I'm not an exercise kinda gal. Walking around our neighborhood for 30 minutes a day is all I can handle. Jogging? Running? Forget it, besides if I overdo it, chances are it will hurt my hips.
This is what I do best. Mom calls me a couch potato.
I’ve been advised by my vet, Dr. A., to bring my weight down because I started to limp, my hind legs were giving me some pain. I'm no longer limping, thanks to acupunture but Dr. A still would like to see me shed a few pounds. My resolution is to eat healthier, more veggies and fruit added to my kibble. I will cut down on treats. It's a good thing I love zucchini, green beans, napa cabbage, apples and pears.
